Growing thriving green spaces & better connected communities

Wild Lives Collective

We have a vision of thriving green spaces, buzzing with bees, neighbours meeting to connect, play and share, birds and bats nesting and roosting to their hearts' content, and communities coming together to celebrate diversity.

About the Collective

Taking action for wildlife

The Wild Lives Collective - Hemingford Grey, is a team of local residents working together to install wildlife friendly features in our public green spaces.  The mission is to create more high-quality space for wildlife in our neighbourhood, so we can all thrive together.

Building community connections

Through the project we are also looking to strengthen community, so each work party brings together different residents and community groups of all ages, histories and heritage, from across the village, in order to work together and build new relationships and connections.

Join the Collective

We are looking for residents, like you, to join the Wild Lives Collective.  The project involves 9 events where we will install wildlife features in local green spaces and then monitor wildlife, but you don't need any DIY skills, or to be able to tell a chaffinch from a blue tit.  Everyone is welcome and no experience is required.
